Yea yea, the Chicago Bulldogs are still here and there is allot of news after being MIA for the last few weeks.
 For starters let’s begin with how the Bulldogs ended up this past season. After winning the Championship in the summer, the Bulldogs ended up this time being eliminated in the 1st round by the Ice Demons. The Ice Demons ended up winning it all so congratulations.No real reason why the Bulldogs did poorly last season, but ending up 4-7-1 did not sit well with Management.
Changes have been made…..
In with the old and out with the new? Well, there have been several off season transactions that surprised many.
Out for this upcoming season is Jim Lausus who has been tagged the Tiger Woods of Beer Hockey. Jim was released and given his walking papers so that he can resolve his ongoing scandal that has involved, Nike, Puck Bunnies and even the Winter Olympics.
In for this upcoming season as a Fulltime player is Maher Karim and Sam Karim. The signing of Maher was so shocking that the trembles were felt as far away as Haiti. Maher who has been MIA conducting Secret Military Black Operations is back in the States with his hockey stick in one hand and a bag of ears in the other. Maher has been on the Jason Darfler conditioning program the last few weeks (pretty much eating and getting fat), in his preparation to once again hit the ice. Welcome back Jerky.
Speaking of Darlfer.. Last time this traitor was mentioned he was wearing a Bulldog jersey playing for the Gay American Eagles. Kind of odd since we just found out he has been recently engaged. Well congrats Darf and keep your ass to the wall in the new team locker room.
Also getting hitched is Joey F*cken V… That’s right the Bulldogs team Captain is FINALLY getting married sometime in 2010. Comment from Joe? “My life is officially over”.
Finally, last but not least on what has happened the last few weeks will shock and surprise many. Alex Martinez the Chicago Bulldogs GM and Goalie was married back on New Years Eve. Was it the ‘Hang Over” all over again? Was it a “Roofie” that did it? Was it a “Shot Gun”? Nope, Martinez of sound mind, so we think, officially got hitched on New Years Eve via Elopement.
On a serious note, Martinez who really did get married had this to comment.
“I married the woman of my dreams. She's my best friend and lover, and now thankfully, she's my wife. When we first met, I knew she was something special. Her smile could light up a room and her laugh was contagious. But it went beyond that. I quickly came to learn that she's also caring, compassionate and loyal - and has a great sense of humor.
I feel extremely blessed to have Ivette as my wife. I look forward to our life together, with all its twists and turns, joys and sorrows. I know in my heart that we were meant to be together - it was simply our destiny.
Ivette, I love you forever with all my heart."
