More signings, Bulldogs ink two more

August 24th, 2007- (Chicago, IL).-The Chicago Bulldogs General Manager Alex Martinez announced today the Bulldogs have agreed to terms with Unrestricted Free Agents Mike Farias (one-year deal) and Ryan Scanlon (one-year deal) earlier today. The terms of each contract were not disclosed.

Scanlon, the 5-10, 185-pound of Lisle, IL, appeared 27 games for two teams in the IIC collecting 49 points ( 33g-16a) and 43 penalty minutes.

“Scanlon is a young player who is ready to play full-time at this level,” said Martinez. “He continues to develop and will be an important part of our club in the Fall.”

Farias, is a relatively unknown player outside the "Cones" organization, but his speed and stick handling is what caught the eye of the Bulldogs coaching staff.

“Farias has been the consummate team player over the past few seasons with the  Cones,” Coach Jules said. “He has committed himself to improving his conditioning and skills to further his development.”

The Bulldogs are not done yet as more signings and changes will be announced in the days to come.
