Suspension hearing is set

 Stud Defender "Ted Markos"

In the news for July 20, 2004: IIt's been confirmed that Ted Markos who was called up earlier in the season from the Chicago Bulldogs affiliate farm team, will be facing a hearing on July 21, 2004.

Markos was susupended for allegadly shooting a puck at an opposing player after the game.

Ted Markos had no comment, but the Chicago Bulldogs Management have released the following statement:

"Ted Markos, angry that his team lost another tough game, angrily shot the puck away out of dismay, with the intention of clearing it across the rink. Unfortunately, the puck struck an opposing player. This act was not in reckless bitterness towards any one player as previously reported. It is clear that he did not intend to hit Mr. Whaling with the puck because, the Bulldogs know all too well that Mr. Markos, who possesses one of the hardest slap shots in the league, is also horribly innaccurate. After the incident took place, Markos skated over to apologize to Whaling, who took exception by striking Markos with his forearm and attempted to gouge Markos' eyes out, before the officials intervened."

The hearing is scheduled for July 21st at the Edge Ice Arena.
