Practice? We're talking about Practice?

January 17th, 2005- "Exclusive ESPN8 Report" The Chicago Bulldogs were actually seen leaving the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, IL. in what appeared to be a practice. This would mark the first ever practice for the Bulldogs on ice. ESPN8 The "Ocho" Darren Pang was at the monumental scene and was able to have a sit down with Player/ Coach "Jason Darfler.

Panger: Thanks Coach for giving me some time here, I know your tired, again thanks allot.

Darfler: Ok... No problem, now what do you want?

Panger: Coach, is this real, did the Bulldogs just finished an actual practice? If so, how did the players look?

Darlfer: Uh.. yes.. we had a practice and to be honest, if today was tryouts then only one person would make the team and that person would be me.

Panger: REALLY? Was it that bad?

Darfler: Well, some guys looked ok.. I think it was just a little rust, but others like Maher Karim has not laced on his skates since the last time we had a game, which was back in December.

Panger: Maher?

Darfler: Yes.. Maher... as he was taking his equipment out of the bag he noticed that family of mice had made a home in one of his skates.

Pager: What?

Darfler: Yup.. Maher will be benched for Monday's opener. He needs to learn to take this game more seriously and taking better care if his equipment.

Panger: Will this move affect the team? did you already tell the GM?

Darfler: For starters, we may actually have a chance to win with Maher not playing tonight and as for the GM, well his little ass is too busy right now with other things and he has made it clear that my job is simple, get these bozo's into hockey shape and win the Cup.

Panger: Did everyone show?

Darfler: No, we had some excused absence's. Bill Nolan had diarrhea and we do not need that on the ice and others like Joey V. has found religion again and his religion forbids him from practice and Sal Karim was unable to show, because his Van would not start. Now is that all?, because my driver is waiting.

Panger: What about Arnie Becker?

Darfler: Arnie had a previous engagement, he asked me to bring his stick just in case he could make it, but he did not show. Now is that all?

Panger: Yes, thanks coach and good luck on Monday.

Darfler: Thanks Panger.....
