This
past Thursday night at the Edge in Bensenville, the
Chicago Bulldogs held tryouts for the final roster spot
on the club's BHL squad. Tryouts were by private
invitation only and sent to several qualified
candidates, some which included former Bulldogs. Of the
many dozen players, the Bulldogs found their man; his
name is Mike "Flash Gordon" Montague
"Montague is the last player that will be signed as we
see it right now", said GM Alex Martinez. "We are still
looking for a back up goalie and hope to have that spot
filled by the deadline".
Other
new faces on the 'Bulldogs' roster this season are Aaron
"Chewy" Sejud and Ron "Socks"
Coglianese.
The
'Bulldogs' like all of the other organizations, know
that the BHL crown is up for grabs. Depth will be
key to the title, so expect
to see more players this season.
