GAME RECAP BULLDOGS Gear Daddies Date/Time Rink 0 10 12/06/2005 International

December 6th, 2005- After a week of little communication from goaltender Alex Martinez, the team feared the worst.  Defenseman Tony Feeney was on the hotline to the Mexican authorities looking for any dead bodies that may have been Martinez.  A call from the missing goalie was received by James Senne an hour before game time.  Alex had been on his deathbed catching the avian bird flu from an Asian hooker he had picked up from the massage parlor.  He had ripped out his IV and was on his way from the hospital to the game

The Dogs went into the game with high hopes of a playoff spot.  After the drop of the first drop of the puck, it looked like the Bulldogs had caught Alex’s disease as the Gear Daddies scored two quick goals.  The Dogs looked sloppy and undisciplined, as the Gear Daddies kept piling up the goals.  Maher and Sal Karim were absent from the game and the loss was felt.  Two winger spots short the remaining Bulldogs were uneasy on the bench.   Rumors around the training center are that Maher and Sam Karim are in a fight.  Joe Van states, “After last game Sam and Maher were throwing punches and fighting about who played with more heart.”  The team came to the conclusion that neither play with heart, the feud should be settled immediately.

As for last night’s game the Gear Daddies bent the Bulldogs over rule seven style.  The Daddies brought their A team and there was no turning back.  The Bulldogs are expected to return to the training center and resume practice Thursday.  Coach Jason Darfler told press, “We have a lot of work to do, create scoring opportunities, conditioning, and watching tapes.  We don’t want to look like that for the playoffs and the move to the BHL.”
