Caca Jerseys taste first defeat

 GAME RECAP

BULLDOGS Viceroy Date/Time Rink
1 6 06/11/2006 JAL

June 16th, 2006- Summer has always been good to the Bulldogs. Wining a league Championship and tournament  this time just last year. However, today's Bulldogs are falling faster than a lead balloon, losing this past Sunday to the Viceroy in a nasty 6-1 game that was played in Johnny's Ice House at Chicago.

Their really is no loss of hustle for the Bulldogs, in fact every player is playing hard and giving more than they could, but the lack of players showing up to the games is part of what looks to be the cause.

The front office is already working on signing new players for the tournaments and seasons to come, but for now these few will finish what they started. GM Alex Martinez commented after the defeat, "If guys are not showing up and don't want to be here so be it, in fact we don't want them, we will succeed and play on with what we have or die trying".

The Bulldog have lost their last three games and look to get back on the winning track this Saturday when they face the winless Centurions.

The Good:

  • Allot of hustle.. everyone is giving 110%
  • Practice, after the loss, the team finally had their first practice in months/

The Bad:

  • Goaltending needs to improve.
  • Breakout, boys we need to work on that.

 The Ugly:

  • Bottom line, you don't want to be on this team, then DON'T.

Player of the Game:

  • Joe F.V.

Joe had the lone goal for the Bulldogs and again the only bright spot of the night.

Next up:  06/17/06, Centurions, 8:30pm
