 GAME RECAP

May 2nd, 2006- Better late than never on last Thursdays game recap, but here it goes.

The Bulldogs were looking for their first win at Johnny's, and found it in a 9-2 blowout

The first period ended 1-1 and no penalties, with the only goal scored by Joey V assisted by The Maher.

The second period was a tornado of penalties and goals, as the new Bulldog Boozefighter Brad "Brian" Lipinski battled in front of the net inciting a near riot. When the dust settled the Bulldogs would score three unanswered goals in the second.

The third period the Bulldogs were just stacking on the goals bringing the total to nine when it was all through. The Bulldogs hope to continue the scoring rampage in their next game May 3rd against The Buffet Boys.

The Good:

  • Finally some offense and two powerplay goals.
  • Maher's long drought is over getting his first point for 2006.

The Bad:

  • The Bulldogs Mexican fans from the Allstate arena, weren't there to throw the sombrero for Mancuso's hat trick.

 The Ugly:

  • Traffic on 290... Brutal

Player of the Game:  Mike Mancuso

The Gay Moose scores his first ever career "Hat Trick".

Next up: May 3 2006 vs. the ‘Buffet Boys’ at 8:00PM.
