Joey landed his 40th point in only 17 games this
season. With two games to go, Joey looks like a lock
for the Bulldogs scoring title.
Update
The
Bulldogs will be having tryouts in the next few
weeks. Stay tuned for more information.

March
23rd,
2007-The
Green Berets scored 4 goals in the 1st period and it was
the start of a high scoring game for both
teams. The Green Berets beat the Chicago
Bulldogs 11-6 this past Tuesday night. Bulldogs are 1-4
in its last five games and are falling quick in the
ASHL standings.
With only two game to go
before the playoffs start the Bulldogs are looking at
either a quick exit or dropping down to the bottom tier
when its all said in done, either scenario is not good.
We are lacking focus
and for the most part some players do not give a dam
right now commented GM Alex Martinez after the
game. If this continues you will be seeing new
faces next season, I promise you that.
Already Martinez called
up former High School hockey standout Karl Hayes who
was sick and jet lagged. Hayes a Willowbrook Alumni
has spent the last 10 years playing in the MHL
(Mexican Hockey League) for the Tijuana Pollo
Locos. He managed to spark up the offense and
motivate these Bulldogs his 1st time out.
Hey I do what I do commented Crazy Karl after the
game.
The buzz on up coming
changes is spreading fast. As potential Bulldogs are
being invited to the games.
The game in its self
was high paced with the Green Berets winning, but
the Bulldogs offense stood tall. Leading scorer Joe
Koehler had 4 points (2 goals- 2 assist) with Mike
Montague behind him tallying 2 goals of his own.
With a week of rest
look for the Bulldogs to get some practice in before
facing the Raider (7-13-1) on Tuesday April 3rd.
Notes- The Chicago Bulldogs will be
looking for players for up coming tournaments in 2007.
Tournaments include, Las Vegas, Local Chicago and
Germany. Please visit our contact section and email us.
The Bulldogs are not a fully sponsored team, we are
currently looking for sponsors and note that all players
pay their own way.
The
Good:
Offense: Lots of it 6 goals, good
enough to win.
The
Bad:
Defense:
The sore thumb of the game, giving up too many break
away and odd man rushes.
Goaltending: Not totally
bad, but not good either. Still Bulldogs goalie better
than the fat ass Green Berets goalie.
The
Ugly:
Jason Darfler:
Ditching the Bulldogs
for his basketball game. His team Darfs Dark Nuts
is current 15-0 with Jason averaging 23 points per
game.
